Bvh Files Breakdance Windmill
How To Breakdance Windmill
Hi,there is a nice description about the topic in the BVH conversion README by B. Hahne-The original CMU BVH files don't provide T poses, which means it'simpossible to determine or recover the exact physical rotation of thehuman actor's joints when the motions were recorded. The situation ismade worse by the fact that the data is recorded using many differentsubjects, and was presumably captured over multiple days or weeks withdifferent people operating and calibrating the motion captureequipment. The best that we can do is make a guess at a T pose, usingjoint rotations that visually look like a T pose, but then adjustingempirically so that we end up with retargeted animation that avoidssome of the most glaring flaws, such as elbows intersecting hips andfeet intersecting each other. This 2010 release modifies the originalT pose slightly, based on my experiments with retargeting the CMU BVHdata onto one of the Daz characters.
