Rct3 California Screamin Download Itunes
Funny, I just started a thread on this topic a week or so back!;)Summer Air (RCT3) and Wild West Theme (RCT2) are two of my favourite compositions, and I believe they're iconic/good enough to be re-used. This is of course also assuming that RCT1/2's theme tune is a given for inclusion, too.I would agree with many other members that the RCT1/2 soundtracks were a real gem. The problem with RCT3 in general was the feature-set somehow became muddied by a poor U.I and a 'meh' soundtrack. The game had good intentions, but as with any big jump into 3D, controlling the view becomes too much of a chore. Ironically, this was probably the single greatest strength of RCT1/2; the isometric view allowed you to focus purely on construction. I would say take back the music of RCT 1 and 2 and remix them to make them sound more to date with the time we are in make them sound beter a new game needs new music and remixing the old music of RCT 1 and 2 would be great sow that we hear the old music again and this time they need to support Surround sound like RCT3 did i would recomend that bekous sound cards have evolved and the music from RCT 1 and 2 need a remix to sound great on the new sound cards and as other people ask make it posible to use your own music that is stored on the player his PC. While the Original Rct1 Organ Carousel music is a classic, I would include that but also add a richer, orchestra quality Carousel music as well.
Perhaps even look for several still running carousel's and import their music to the game. A way for nostalgia buffs to tie such to their park.In essence giving a wide range of such choices, from modern tunes that the Atari team creates, to looking at the historic tunes popular since Coney Island and the Beer Gardens first came about. At Tivoli when I was there in 1980, I heard Sweet Georgia Brown (which of course is American Jazz and linked to the Harlem Globetrotters) but the thought would be that all these international famous parks have music that is iconic that can be attached to rides, and maybe even to be played out of speakers for specific theme areas as well, even in a user defined loop that somehow affects Peep Behavior. Is there some formula that would be tied to a Peep wanting to go on a Carousel with the RCT1 music for it, or would steer away from the Carousel if it played Techno-Punk? Or is music a feature that is for the Peep Manager's benefit and those who will visit in First Person via Multiplayer.

Or is music a feature that is for the Peep Manager's benefit and those who will visit in First Person via Multiplayer.I think on-ride + ambient music attributing to Peep satisfaction or demand would be interesting concept to explore. The only snag I have with that is when we, as the designers, wish to import our own music. How would a Peep react to that? I like this idea though.
Definitely something to consider. For all intensive purposes I think RCTW also needs a dedicated Music Manager or Jukebox importer program as well. I can definitely agree with all the tracks that have been mentioned. My personal favorite actually comes from RCT3. It was a song called Space de Grey (I think) and the beginning was so cool sounding. However, I believe that if music from other games is imported in to the new one, they should be remixed so that they're not just being reused.
They'll be something different. And I also agree with having the ability to import our own music. And as magicart87 so wonderfully put it, we should be able to have on-ride audio. Then we could truly recreate the Hulk or Hollywood Rip Ride RockIt! Roller coasters.
So we here are looking at the music in the game and, although we are working on all new stuff for RCTW, do think there are certain iconic tracks from the previous games so would love to hear what that is for everyone. Can be from any previous version. For me its the organ carousel track. I get goosebumps everytime I hear it. We want to see if there is a cool and appropriate way to integrate some of these into this game but also want to make sure that if we do that we picked the right ones.I liked Gothic Moon from RCT3 (maybe if it was put in RCTW a remixed version would suit better), in my opinion it's a great background for dark rides or 'scary' indoor coasters.
Mermaid from 3 is absolutely breathtaking. Space De Grey from 3 is also catchy. I want to see carousel music return, and I would like sound effects for rides.
In RCT3 you had Ambient Birds and Ambient Wind. I want something themed like roaring dinosaur FX for prehistoric, or seagulls + beach noises for island, or menacing growls for horror. The Gentle theme from 2 is so mysterious and serene, it really needs to come back. It would fit very well in a ride showcasing a wildlife-filled jungle. Now, Mattlab, I know this game can only be so complex but please make this game truly worth thousands of hours of gameplay. How do people feel about the use of the organs in the original games?Fine by me, but if your talking MIDI synths.and for use on anything other than the Carousel ride. I'll have to give a big NO! I don't want Calliope organs being played on my rollercoasters.
But, I do like that classic sound, when appropriate.I like the original themes, and don't particularly think they NEED updating but it would be nice to hear them remastered or reinstrumentated (word?) I'd much rather us talk about importing our own music and sounds into various aspects of our park. But, I welcome this discuss too!Good to hear from you, Mattlab! We want to see if there is a cool and appropriate way to integrate some of these into this game but also want to make sure that if we do that we picked the right ones.Won't we have the option to import our own music tracks from our computer into the game? We had that ability in RCT3.:confused. I hate to ask if we can go a bit in a SmashBros route and have like, all of the music, remakes, and new music in this version?
I absolutely loved all of the music in the original games. I feel it should be in the new game, I do agree however that the tracks are quite old, and perhaps could use a remaster, or even remix(I'm looking at the RCT1 and RCT2 themes when I say that).I agree.
I hope all music from the previous games will be included. I'd also like to see the music organized by genre, perhaps adding a 'Retro' station that plays nothing but the oldies. That way it's not forced on anyone that doesn't want to hear it. I wonder if we have this thread because maybe we will not have imported music of our own.The trouble with allowing us to import music, is in the multiplayer aspect. If I own an LP and have a digitized piece, like the music from 2001 Richard Strauss, Also Sprach Zarathustra, which would be great for going up a lift hill.
And I am colloborating on a park with someone else who does not have that music, then I shouldn't b e sharing the music with them until they also have bought the song, or have a streaming service that can access it and send some fractions of pennies back to the orchestra that recorded the piece of music. So multiplayer could mean no import of your own music. I wonder if that will end up being the case. I had mentioned this earlier in another post, but perhaps something similar would be nice.
Great commercials.I have to agree this is a great song and an iconic soundtrack for six flags and even arcade games till find around the world. It would be cool to incorporate some licensed music in the game. And I know we're steering away from the in-app purchase type things in the game but being able to purchase a soundtrack for your rides or your park and having it go across your park IN MULTIPLAYER when other people visit your park, I think that would be a GREAT feature.
Is it possible to add real music you would hear on the radio? Because that would be a pretty good idea, though it's gonna require some legal requirements, as well as music available in your home country. In RCT3, if you had the mp3 file you could put it into an RCT3 Music Folder, and it would allow you to play any of your own music in your park.WOULD be neat if RCTW had some kind of access to your Pandora account, or something.
Then you could have an actual item in the park that ran off of that. But THAT would probably require sponsorships and such.

I would love to see the music from RCT 1 and 2 implemented again, especially the organ music (Children of the Regiment March, Tales from the Vienna Woods, and Poet and Peasant Overture are my favorites) and and the ragtime music.I did not like the music in RCT 3 at all. I disliked it so much that I copied ALL of the music off the RCT 2 disk and imported them into RCT 3.
Disney California Adventure Train
What's an amusement park without a carousel, and what's a carousel without a band organ? The organ music usually the first thing you hear when you walk into any real park.I hope that the original organ recordings from RCT 1 and 2 can be implemented again, but I also would love to see new recordings, perhaps of American marches.
A lot of carousels play those. Maybe there could be an option to switch which roll you want to play in the organ - the German waltzes roll, the American marches roll, etc. That way it won't sound weird having songs recorded from different band organs playing right after each other (that would be very strange and unrealistic to hear - you cant just swap huge organs instantly!). It would also be cool if you could see the bells ringing, cymbals clashing, and drums beating on the band organ with the music (but that could admittedly be difficulty to do).And please continue to allow custom music to be added, just like in the previous versions, even though it may only work in singleplayer. People have different tastes in music and allowing custom music solves that problem.I am glad that a lot of thought is being put into the music and that the community is being consulted! Honestly, I think so far that the music in each game fits that game.
The tracks from RCT 1 and 2 were great, but if you would've put them in 3 they wouldn't have been that nice. They just don't fit the game. RCT 3 also definitely had some nice tracks, best one is the menu track (don't know the name).Coming back to your question, I think you can just squeeze all classic tracks in. You have the files, it's just a matter of implementing them. 'Picking the right ones' will be really hard, because the audience is massive and everyone has their own favorite.
Other suggestions would be adding sounds over time through updates, or, even better, allowing users to add tracks themselves - being it from their own harddrive or from their Spotify / apple music / Soundcloud. I think the audience is just too big to satisfy everyone with the tracks you compose yourself, so then at least you can try to satisfy the ones that don't like your music by allowing them to add their own. As extensive as the great music debate is, some players will still want some sort of customisability, music-wise.
So I'd like to propose this in-game feature for making your own music files that are compatible with the game.Basically, the idea is to have a Mario Paint Composer-esque interface with which to make music tracks for the rides (or just the merry-go-round). Players pick an instrument (or voice), and place things for each of the tune's notes in a stave. Then they can use it in the game, and maybe upload it to the workshop.
They could have some kind of cloud-based music service linked to your steam account where you can upload music and then have it streamed from the cloud when you visit another person's park. It would have to be a pretty low-quality stream, though, so that it doesn't use up too much bandwidth - maybe a slider in the options for multiplayer: No music High Quality streamingOr the music files could be reduced to a low quality making them of acceptable size, they could be downloaded with the map when you join. That would probably work better.I just converted a 3 minute long 'In the Mood' recording into a mp3 with an 8 kb/s bitrate and 8000 Hz sample rate that is only a 200 kb file. It admittedly sounded bad, but a 16000Hz 16 kb/s mp3 sounds decent and is only 400 kb.
It would be manageable to download songs with a map if they have a low bit-rate and sample rate. They should have a good and varied selection of pre-made music as well (including decent band organ music)OR all the music could be MIDI format:D. Can you elaborate further? I'm having a hard time placing what sound effect you are talking about. When the train left the station it made a chugging sound and the whistle also blew. The whistle also blow while the train was in motion and just before it pulled into the station, although that could have just happened in the cycle for the train was a small oval. That happened when I just had a small oval, didn't check it out on a longer ride if it was timed that way. There was also a clickety clack noise when the train first stated up, like going over the small gaps in the track.
I have not read every 11 pages here2. I wanna say that i don't like the theme from RCT3. It sounds surreal for me. Hope Atari add real ambient sound like in real parks.
Or better no music. It is irritating me. I prefer to zoom in and listen to the detailed sound if the scene I have zoomed in. I mean that when I zoom into a place where peeps chill out or something else and nearby is a carousel, that I don't here the carousel in max volume.
I might be sounds lower or mixed with ambient. And if you zoom out it fades out. On top I would like to hear little screams and the coasters rails or different sounds which has got a (like in real life) high pressure to any direction. This is a problem in cities. You zoom in and here a standard sound not special for the scene.I hope you guys understand me. Maybe I could it better define.:).

From RCT 1&2 I have a few favourites I would love to hear in World, but I dont know the track names, so I hope that youtube links are enough to identify the tracks.the caroussel songs of course;)These brought back some memories! I loved the opening track (Main theme) and also 9 and 13, 14, 17, 19, 24, 25 could be the entrance music, and 38. I half expect this to be buried in the sea of other threads, but I had to voice my opinion. The Merry-go-Round music from RCT:2 needs to be in World.
It is one of the most defining things about RCT. That moment you start up a new map. An empty park. You build some stalls and a carousel then open everything and it hits you. The pipe organs and drums. It brings the park alive!don't remember what was used in RTC:3, but I have distinct memories of disappointment.:(So can I suggest there be maybe even 2 types of carousels.
A classic one and a more modern one. The classic would be smaller, but would be quite a novelty to your park, whereas the modern one would hold more people.Hope this little thread grabs someones attention. Just one mans opinion in the vast sea of others.
I am really looking forward to the new coaster building mechanics in World. I half expect this to be buried in the sea of other threads, but I had to voice my opinion. The Merry-go-Round music from RCT:2 needs to be in World.

I am really looking forward to the new coaster building mechanics in World. It is highly unlikely that the original merry go round soundtrack will be used - I would be against it, it has an outdated quality for a 2015 release (it really just fit the art direction of RCT1 & 2). I'm also not a fan of relying on nostalgia and earlier success to sell a game.Imo though, a remake using some of the pieces used in the original carousel music (especially Strauss' waltzes, I love those) would be great. I'm glad someone here noted the very subtle sense of progression that the original RCT scenarios had, especially at the beginning with the carousel music kicking off the creation of a theme park so symbolically.:). Imo though, a remake using some of the pieces used in the original carousel musicThis right here. The classics are so classic that I badly want the option to choose them in the new game. But it would be really awesome if the music were remade. Slight change the arrangement, higher audio fidelity.
Basically just an updated take on the classic as a default.I'm a little opposed to using nostalgia to sell a game, but this is a franchise that up to rct3 the classic was retained, I think it should be renewed for this release. Not out of nostalgia but out of keeping what was great.I also really liked the water theme, but thought it was almost too soft. I think the synth sound was a little unnerving, but I liked how it blended with the other sounds and musics in the park, so I would always use it with other rides and other music. The rock one was cool, and the electronic one, definitely need some dub-step.I did a quick youtube search for covers and renditions of rct music created by others. This person would be worthwhile to contact:would be cool to feature entirely acoustic versions of the classics, but maybe this is the realm of UGC;).
